The Blog That Almost Didn’t Happen

I know it’s Thursday, and yes, I said in our last lesson, “I might be a bit tired in the evening to post anything.” Turns out, I was right. But fear not—this blog is alive! Barely.

Setting up this blog has been an adventure in itself. If I’d had the foresight, I’d have done it from the comfort of home, where Wi-Fi is reliable, and coffee is always available. But no, we decided to tackle it mid-trip, armed only with dodgy connections, questionable tech skills, and a vague hope it would all work out.

First, there were the settings. Why do there have to be so many? Fonts, layouts, backgrounds... Who cares what shade of blue the "About" section is? Then came the background picture drama. Picking one felt like choosing a name for a baby. After an hour of scrolling through scenic shots of our trip, we gave up and picked the least blurry one.

But here we are, finally feeding this blog. (Better late than never, right?) Luckily, we’ve been diligent note-takers and snap-happy photographers, so no detail will be forgotten.

Right now, we’re on a coach from Cambridge to Oxford, stopping in Luton for some reason (is this normal?), and laughing at the irony that it took us this long to get started. Stay tuned, because if setting up this blog was a challenge, you can imagine what the rest of the trip has been like. Spoiler: There hasn't been rain yet, no wrong buses, and no questionable sandwich choices.

More updates soon—probably when we’ve recovered from this leg of the journey!
